God at work – Rev. Felix Omobude

God at work by Rev. Felix I. Omobude.

Never you forget whether night or day, whether things are working positively or not, GOD IS AT WORK!

Genesis 50:19-21 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.
1 Timothy 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
God ordered your steps to this place. Throughout the year, you went through hills and valleys and at times there was sunshine and other times there was rain. At times people celebrated you and at times they criticized you but you came out because God is at work in your life.

The devil is not in charge of your life.

When we come to a time like this, it is time to take stock of your life… what would you have done better, in your relationship with members of your family and friends, in your workplace and in the activities around you, how did you fare? in your services in the house of God, how did you fare?
Apostle Paul qualified it as a good fight, meaning that he also had some bad fights. Those who fight know that it is not easy and you don’t get to win every battle.
In the battles of life, you win some and you lose some. The battles you loose bring great lessons to your life. Our losses bring learning.
Apostle Paul celebrated three things in Philippians 2:13
1. He fought a good fight.
2. He finished his course (some fight good but don’t finish well)
3. He has kept the faith.
The fact that he wanted to win did not lead him to compromise his standards. In all of life’s battles, I kept the faith.

Anyone who disregards his past can never appreciate his present neither can he focus or project to his future so it is important at times to reflect.

In the calendar of your life, you are getting older and getting closer to the end. At the end of it all, what will you look up to? will you look up to the many houses you built or the many clothes you bought?
you look at things that you are leaving behind and the things you accomplished in life.
Anyone who runs a race knows that there are rules.
How did you run your race?
1 Timothy 6:11-12 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
In fighting this fight, lay hold on eternal life, it is eternal life that you are called. Understand that 2019 is just a chapter in your book.
Our journey does not end on December 31st. Eternal life is what we are called to.
People should know that you belong to Christ, confess him and radiate Christ among many witnesses. the Jesus of 2019 has gone ahead of you to 2020.
Ephesians 6:12-14 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
We wrestle not against flesh and blood not against cars and boxing rings.
As you move into the new year, dress for it. Take unto you the spiritual dressing so that you will be able to stand in the evil day.
Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
Don’t let the hatred people have for your dream stop you from dreaming again.
Never you forget that God is at work in your life. He has not finished. He is still working.
You must understand the God element of your life and when you understand it, you share your trophy of grace…
The more they try to harm you, the more they fail. The reason is that God is at work. The world cannot understand it.
Psalms 71:7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
2 Samuel 22:30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Psalms 105:17-22 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his senators wisdom.
When God sends you, He stands by you. You must understand that God’s hand is on your life, even when you are going through the valley of the shadow of death.
The time for your Prophecy to be fulfilled is now.
The man who does not understand the working of God will react like a man.
We must learn to share our trophy with grace. one of the problems of this nation is that the winner takes it all.
In 2020, every evil that people think or plan against you, the heavens will turn it in your advantage in the name of Jesus.

He never goes on break, he is never tired, he never sleeps nor slumbers. Keep that in mind always.
When God comes through, he will put laughter in your mouth.
By the time God came through for Joseph, Joseph became the indisputable champion of his family.
