Trust and Obey
God is still on the throne and He is still in charge. Trust and obey
2 Kings 19:3 KJV[3] And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
This is a state of helplessness as far as we humans can think but there is always a way for those who believe in God.
This is the time that faith in God comes to play.
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV[5] Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
When things go wrong, there is only one true source to run to and that is God. We must trust the Lord with all our hearts and put Him first in all and he will bring it to pass.
When we walk with Lord in the light of His word He shed his glory on our way.
This is a time to put our trust in God and have faith in Him.
2 Kings 18:5 KJV[5] He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.2 Kings 18:6-7 KJV[6] For he clave to the Lord, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses. [7] And the Lord was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.
Trusting in God is an inner strength the world may not see.
When you have done all you can. Look up to Him and keep faith strong in Him
I speak to all, let not your heart be troubled.
Hezekiah listened to the prophet. And I say to you, let not your heart be troubled. The pandemic will come to pass. God is in charge of His word.1 Timothy 4:10 KJV[10] For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
The world sees no reason to look to Heaven but we believers have to keep looking to him. And your faith will not fail.
God is in charge of His Word, the devil cannot overrule God. His word will surely come to pass.
2 Timothy 1:12 KJV[12] For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
That is the God we serve. Keep on trusting. He will not fail you.
I call on you today as God intervened for king Hezekiah, He will also intervene for you.
I prophesy that Coronavirus will return the way it came. We shall not be terrorized by the virus. It shall not be your portion and your family will not be touched by it. We roll it away off Planet earth. We declare this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
We don’t confess what the world wants us to confess because we are a people of faith.
Isaiah 12:1 KJV[1] And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
In a day like this. Say O Lord I will praise.
We are people of faith we only confess what God says.
We serve a God who forgives. It a pleasing thing to know.
The prophet declared that God’s anger had turned away. We serve a forgiving God. He does not keep his anger forever. He loves his creation. He doesn’t want us to go the evil way.
However, if we go astray and return to him, he is ready to forgive us. That is our God. His anger does not last forever. What a joy to know that our sins are forgiven. He is not mad at us perpetually. The world may write us off, but our God is not that way. He comforts us.
I pray healing for you. I pray blessing for you. May the God of all grace manifest to and comfort you.
Today we need to find reconciliation with God, He is not angry with you.
Isaiah 12:2 KJV[2] Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord, Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Fear vanishes where trust abounds.
Trusting God is vital. The songwriter said “trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Christ Jesus”
Psalm 56:3 KJV[3] What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Fear comes when you take your eyes off God. When we start looking at what is around us.
Fear will not rule in your life when you trust him. He rules! He is our strength and song, our salvation.
Trust defeats fear.
If you depend on social/traditional media posts the tendency is to fear. But the psalmist said when fear comes, I will trust in God.
At whatever time you are afraid. Trust God.
Why must we trust God?
Isaiah 53:4 KJV[4] Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
1. He has already paid the price. So trust Him.
The word “Surely” indicates certainty. It means that without a doubt, he has carried away our grief. We don’t have to carry what the Lord has carried for us. He paid the price so that we may live.
Matthew 8:17 KJV[17] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
We don’t have to carry what He has taken.
Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding
Psalm 121:1-2 KJV[1] I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. [2] My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Thank God that technology is working. Wherever you are, lift your head and look up to him. Our help comes from him.
Do you know you can save your household? Do you know that God raised you as Light in a dark world?
You can stand out and not be a part of the destruction in the world. Rahab saved herself and her family. You can be the light in your family. You can stand in the gap for your family and declare as Joshua did.
Joshua 24:15 KJVAnd if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Look up to Jesus who died for us and is ready to accept anyone who comes to him. Come to him and accept him.
The tide will not sweep you away. You will outlive this season. I renew the covering of God over you and your family. You are covered. I spray a spiritual anti-virus around you and your family. I declare prosperity to you and the world, in Jesus Name. Amen.
You will never fail.
