THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS
Exodus 12:13
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
The blood is the life of every living thingLeviticus 17:11
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
It is the blood that makes atonement for our souls.
The Blood is the power of life.
When Cain murdered able, the blood cried out to God.
The blood has a voice. It can cry for vengeance.
No one has the right to shed the blood of another person.
Let us consider the situation of Israel under servitude in Egypt. When God called them out of Egypt, the totalitarian leader refused to let them go.
The live in a world of oppression, where the strong want to dominate the weak. They everything possible to keep people in bondage-deny your liberty. But God assures us of our liberty.
God told Israel he was set to do something and move through the land. Our God is the Lord of the whole earth, He is the Lord of Hosts because he commands the army of heaven. He asked the Israelites to kill land and sprinkle the blood on their doorposts. The blood was a sign. As God moved through the land he would look out for the sign, the blood. Any house without the blood was not among the people of God. The blood only protected those who were in the house. Those who wandered away from home in rebellion had no coverage of the blood.
The Blood is a token and a sign for protection and safety. The blood only protects only those who are in the house.
The Blood has no covering over anyone who is rebellious.
Sit down at home it is for your good and protection.
It is amazing how people refuse to obey simple instructions. Why can’t people obey simple orders given for their good? Stay at home, and people will not.
God the ordered people to stay indoors. The angel of destruction moved throughout the land. His instruction was to look out for the blood. Every house with the bloodstain on its doorpost was saved.
An Israelite that refused to sprinkle the blood and rejected the words of Moses, the blood had no remedy for such.
Even an Egyptian who feared the Lord marked his home and stay indoor, He will be protected.
The people of God were preserved by Obedience.
God is God at all times. He is God of the hills and the valley. He has His way in the oceans and whirlwind.
We are in the week of Easter, we remember that the blood of goats and animals saved people at the times before Christ by sacrifices made on a continuum but it was not perfect.
So we required perfect and clean blood which was that of Jesus Christ. A sinless man had to pay for sinful man, only Jesus Christ matched this description
Hebrews 9:13
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
Christ entered once and redeemed us from sins and death forever.
Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
His sacrifice was full, perfect and adequate. God saw His travail and sacrifice and was pleased.
Hebrews 10:18
Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission.Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.1 Peter 1:18-19
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Our redemption is not of corruptible things like silver or gold but by the blood of Jesus Christ. His blood is efficacious.
That blood is efficacious, powerful and cleans completely. It never loses its power. It washes clean. That blood cries compassion on our behalf.
May that blood delivers you from every plague in Jesus’ name. Amen
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We are justified by his blood as though we never sinned. We are saved from coronavirus and every destruction through the blood.
I call on every believer, apply the blood. The blood is enough to save you.
Fear not, the plague that destroys the rest will not destroy you.
Stay at home but stay within the orbit of God’s covering. The government has asked us to stay at home. Obey the order. Do the needful.
Apply the blood to protect you and your family. The blood is still powerful. It will protect you and your family
If you had committed a sin and done evil and your conscience continued to trouble you, the blood of Jesus can purge your conscience. Allow him to wash you clean.
If you decide to come under that blood, bow your heart and ask God to forgive you. Tell Him that when Jesus died on the cross, He did that for you. That the sword that struck his side and the nails pierced his hands He did all for you.
If you are sick that blood heals you.
If you are afraid of insecurity, come under the blood. I pray for you and for your family.
I stamp that blood all over you. The angel of destruction will not stop at your gate.
The blood of Jesus brings redemption not only to you but to your household. I proclaim deliverance and healing upon you.
I thank you, Father because you are at work in your world.
Save your people. Enough destruction and death in the world. Thank you for answering us, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
