For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
Deut. 32: 9-12
Changing the way we think, with respect to finding solutions
Patterning our lives in the shadow of others deprives the world of us. The shift we talking about is the “US” we lead daily to bring out the “YOU” in you. If there is any bird God compares the humans with, it is the eagle
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
Deut. 32: 11
Your nest is your beginning, a place where we have settled in. An accustomed lifestyle. Stir means to turn, bringing unrest to the place of settling, the place of comfort. If you do not turn the stew, the spice will not mix and the taste thereof will be lost.
This stir is not comfortable. When it is stirred, the beauty evolves. Life is not casual but an assignment. Life is intentional.
Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled?
Jeremiah 2:14 (KJV)
Perception of your life.
Life is about how you see things and not how you look at a thing, Seeing is a mind thing. We must thus seek to see
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints
Ephesians 1:18 (KJV)
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV)
1. Who are you? YOUR PERSON.
We are a product of our beginning (our nest) but where you begin from should not govern your life. We were planted in a family and we did not choose our family. Then our family should not define us because Life is about choices. So we can and should make a choice based on the revealed reality God has shown from His word to us. Where you are going to in Life is a choice we must make regardless of the NEST from where we came.
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:9-10 (KJV)
The opinion of men is a reflection of their thought so do not pattern your life based on that opinion.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1(KJV)
In every mistake is a miracle, do not dwell in your mistake. Opinions of men can either be oversize or undersize, only the word revealed by God to you should count. How do you see you before you? Know yourself! You only compare you with others when you have not emerged.
2. The perception of your pains and problems
You must understand your pains. When troubles come it did not come to destroy you
After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him. And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence. Then the king’s servants, which were in the king’s gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king’s commandment?
Esther 3:1-3 (KJV)
Mordecai was not arrogant but he had a revelation of who he is in God., He knew from where he was redeemed.
