OVERFLOWING JOY

Matthew 2:7-10 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Joy comes when there is a refreshing. It elongates life.
The Christ-life should not be a moody life.
Overflowing Joy is Joy+, a joy you cannot complain.
Ezra 3:11-12 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the LORD because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:
If you have nothing else to rejoice for, do rejoice because the Lord is Good.
Joy is rehearsed When your missed yesterday is recovered…when distorted destiny is restored.
Somehow when the joy overflowing season comes, things begin to change for good.
God wants to refresh your life.
In this season a revelation will break loose on your life.
God is the star of the morning
God deals with us “Patentedly” for us. He communes with us differently.
Remember to fix your eyes on the star of the morning, do not think of His ways with your finite mindset. Let Him lead you. stay focused on His instructions.
At no point in time should you release your password to God to anyone else, it’s a patent made for you alone.
When you dwell too long in Herod’s house, you do not see the star.
The journey that the star will lead you may be rough but do not take a detour or find a shortcut…stay on the course!
Get out of Herod’s house and rediscover the star of the morning. These last days of this year, your lost destiny would be restored.
Its a season for rediscovery
God is our exceeding joy
Psalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
The eyes that has its focus on Him never strays into Herod’s house.
2 Corinthians 7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
How can you be joyful in the midst of tribulation?
2 Corinthians 7:5-6 . For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
Things may not be the way it should be, but Joy is a choice!
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
Do not carry your mystery into the new year. Shake it off and move on.
1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Joy is a choice!
Do not let the world sing you out of tune…they will always point you to the things you do not have.
Habakkuk 3:17-18 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
